COL David Hunt (Ret.), a 29 year veteran of the U.S. Army with many years in Special Forces, has wrote a book on how we are failing in the "War on Terror".  He spares no one here - including Congress (both political parties), bureaucrats, senior ranking members of the military, and the executive branch.

In addition to being an author of several books, COL Hunt is a Fox News analyst, security professional and advisor, and a concerned citizen.  He has extensive operational experience in counterterrorism, special operations, and intelligence.

The book includes an index, a couple of appendixes, and a translation of the al Qaeda training manual - "Manual of Death".

He discusses in detail the initial intelligence failure, the mistakes made in both Afghanistan and Iraq by the military, and how we have screwed up in homeland defense.  More important, he provides examples of how and where we can do better.
